Our 100% recycled material

As a few of you eagle-eyed folk may have noticed, we have successfully fulfilled our pledge to transition all of our products across to 100% recycled material (if they aren't already). Don't worry, it's the same as the fabric you know and love, just this time made from post-consumer plastic (instead of virgin plastic). Pretty cool, eh?

We are passionate about #DOINGOURBIT for the world we live in and reducing our environmental footprint. This is something we have dreamed about doing for a while (it isn't an overnight task, y'know). We completed the process at the beginning of 2021.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why have you changed everything to this recycled material?

We are passionate about #doingourbit for the world we live in and reducing our environmental footprint wherever we can. It has always been a goal of ours to create products from something that would have otherwise been filling up landfills. It took a little time to get the new material perfect and it wasn’t an overnight process but now we’re happy the material is up to scratch and the same quality quick-dry fabric that you know and love.

When will this be available from?

Now! We have finished off the process of transitioning all of our products into this material (not forgetting our swim shorts, charity towels and some of our newer ranges which already are). From the beginning of 2021, every range is now 100% recycled.

Everything that is being manufactured from now on is made from this new material and you can always check the product information section on our product pages to be sure.

Will the products still work in the same way as before?

They absolutely will! We took our time to make sure that the recycled material performs in the exact same way - it is just as efficient and feels great against the skin.

Why is using post-consumer recycled plastic better for the environment?

By recycling plastic which already exists, as opposed to creating new plastic to make items from synthetic materials, you do a whole load of good.
